Lou Kim is a creative practitioner and researcher based in the Netherlands. Her practice mainly manifests in light, sound, and installations putting importance on space. For the past few years, her artistic research has evolved around site-specific project and the connection between creation and destruction—how every story, whether individual or societal, begins with a single point of creation but inevitably encounters moments of collapses and transformation. In order to establish the stages and structures of destruction that occur in complex life and society, it emphasizes the point that we enter the story, and this approach leads her to the consideration of destruction. Based on research, she creates collisions in multiple scenes like the clash of visual and auditory images.
